    The History of Our Name

Greenville, was formerly a rural section of Santa Ana, and has buildings over a century old!  One example is the 1876 Greenville Country Church which stands on the Southeast corner of MacArthur (formerly Talbert Ave.) and Greenville Street.

Now, industrial complexes have replaced the expansive agricultural fields that once surrounded the town.  But near Segerstrom High School, the church, and across the street from Greenville Fundamental School, there remains some
    very limited agricultural land.
The Date Our School was Built
Originally, in the late 1800's, there was a one-teacher "Greenville School" for the ranch families that lived in the neighborhood.
The new Greenville School, located on the corner of MacArthur (formerly Talbert) and Raitt St., was built in 1979.
