State Seal of Civic Engagement
The State Seal of Civic Engagement certifies that a student understands the US Constitution, the CA Constitution, and the democratic system of government. Students must also display civic-minded character traits and participate in a project that addresses real-world problems in their community. The Seal of Civic Engagement is displayed on the high school diploma and transcript.
