Coordination of benefits is available to benefit-eligible married employees of the Santa Ana Unified School District.
Below we have provided information of the perks of coordinating your health insurance coverage with your SAUSD employed spouse. Coordination of benefits options apply to medical plans only. Dental plan costs are not waived.

Certificated and Management Employees

If you qualify and would like to take advantage of one of these coordination of benefits options, you must enroll within 30-days of your employment during Open Enrollment (usually held in April or May). You have a 30-day enrollment period if you get married during the school year.

Classified Employees
Want to Sign Up?
If you qualify and would like to take advantage of this SAUSD-paid benefit, contact American Fidelity at 1-800-365-9180 extension 0, to setup the Classified Employer Paid Flexible Spending Account within 30-days of your employment or during American Fidelity's open enrollment (usually held in May and June each year).
