The Trades team supports district sites with building systems and general repairs across carpentry, locksmithing, painting & materials, general maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage electronics & technology. Use Work Orders for routine or urgent needs; call M&O for emergencies.

FER vs. Work Order: Which should I use?

Quick guidance

Work Order: repair/maintenance to existing assets (fix, replace like-for-like, routine service).
FER: improvement or installation that changes the facility or adds capability (code/ADA/Board-policy checks required).
