Repairs vs. Projects

Repairs & Maintenance

Fix or restore existing equipment or spaces. Use the Work Order system.

Projects & Improvements (FER)

Site-funded installs or upgrades (power/data, finishes, fencing, AC where none exists).

Scope of Services

  • Daily cleaning for classrooms, offices, MPRs, gyms, and restrooms
  • Trash and recycling, liners, high-touch disinfecting
  • Floor care: sweeping, mopping, auto-scrubbing (where applicable)
  • Glass and touchpoints: entry doors, partitions, rails
  • Event support (per permit): setup, coverage, post-event cleaning
  • Roving crew for priority needs

Staffing & Events

Events scheduled through Civic Center may require custodial staffing for setup, coverage, and cleanup. Staffing appears as a line item on your quote or permit.

Plan ahead: include setup diagrams and cleanup expectations in your request so we can schedule appropriately.

How to Request Service

Work Order (repairs / custodial attention)
  1. Submit a Work Order with clear location and need.
  2. Select the correct priority (Emergency, Urgent, Routine).
  3. Attach photos when helpful. Include event permit # if related.

Consumables & Supplies

Standard consumables (liners, tissue, towels, soap) are provided through District programs. Site admins may request replenishment via Work Order or established supply channels.

Do I need extra cleaning for an event?

Include custodial needs in your Civic Center request. Additional hours will be quoted if required.

Who handles specialty floor care?

Custodial coordinates with Trades or Grounds when specialized equipment or surface treatment is needed.
