Blue Sheet Guidelines
These rules summarize SAUSD’s Civic Center “Blue Sheet.” Violations may result in immediate suspension and revocation of current and future permitted dates.
Access & conduct
- Enter only at the permitted start time; depart by the scheduled end time.
- Valid Civic Center permit required; subletting a permit is prohibited.
- Use only designated parking areas; follow site staff directions.
- No alcohol, tobacco, fireworks, firearms, candles, or illegal drugs on District property.
- Maintain appropriate conduct; no profane or disorderly behavior.
- Use spaces for intended purposes; in-season school sports have priority.
- Food trucks require a separate Civic Center permit.
Care of facilities
- Dispose of trash in receptacles; excessive cleanup will be billed.
- Leave spaces as found; damage may incur charges and suspension.
- Stage/auditorium equipment may not be moved except under site staff supervision.
Priority, cancellations & scheduling
- District classes and school events have priority and may supersede permits if necessary.
- Schedules may be adjusted by the District to meet operational needs.
- Additional time requires prior approval; follow the times on your permit.
Insurance, liability & compliance
- Provide required liability insurance/COI and hold the District harmless as specified.
- Permittee is responsible for loss, damage, or injury arising from the event.
- All laws, Board policies, and site rules must be followed at all times.
