Guidelines for Use of Facilities “Blue Sheet” · PDF

All users must comply with SAUSD Civic Center guidelines. Violations may result in immediate suspension and revocation of future permitted dates.

General rules & priorities
  • District/school activities have priority. Use may not disrupt instruction or operations.
  • Groups must stay in permitted areas and follow posted site rules and staff directions.
  • Only activities stated on the permit are allowed; subletting is prohibited.
Safety, supervision & cleanup
  • Provide adequate adult supervision at all times; minors are never left unattended.
  • Follow capacity limits and emergency procedures; exits must remain clear.
  • Leave areas clean; remove decorations and trash. Damage and extra cleanup are billable.
Insurance, permits & fees
  • Upload a valid Certificate of Insurance (COI) when prompted in Facilitron.
  • Some events require security/custodial/tech staffing; see the Fee Schedule — Rates.
  • Pay invoices through Facilitron by the stated deadlines.
Prohibited items & conduct
  • Tobacco, alcohol, illegal drugs, weapons, open flames, and hazardous materials are prohibited on District property.
  • Sales, fundraising, or commercial activity may require prior written approval.
  • Outdoor sound amplification must comply with site and local regulations.
