All Blue Shield members (except for 65 Plus members) receive Express Scripts as their pharmacy provider.  65 Plus members receive their pharmacy coverage through Blue Shield.
 
Express Scripts is a pharmacy benefits manager working as the middleman to fill your prescription needs.  Express Scripts fills prescriptions for Blue Shield Access+ HMO, Spectrum PPO, and Trio ACO HMO members.
