Canvas LMS is the cutting edge Learning Management System adopted by SAUSD to better facilitate personalized and blended learning for our students.Built with a #GoOpen mindset, Canvas LMS allows teachers to build courses within a global education community, enabling the sharing of curriculum and resources, as well as support for students and educators.
SAUSD is a leader in Canvas support for teachers, students, and the educational community at large by co-hosting SoCal Canvas Conferences, providing site and district PD, as well as supporting 1:1 tutoring with fellow teachers.

Site-Based Support:
Schools and district departments may email David Lofink to schedule an onsite workshop. School site workshops will be offered on modified Wednesdays or at other times to meet a specific sites needs. Trainings can be for the entire school or in small groups. Trainings can be held during the school day if the school can provide substitutes for the attendees.Where can I go for help online? Flex your Canvas muscle by using the Canvas LMS Community to research and ask questions, review online Canvas Guides, and to participate on live (or archived) webinars on the new Canvas Live page. You will learn and be inspired by fellow educators and Canvas gurus in the Canvas Community. If you don't know how to do something in Canvas, you can find it out here!Where can students get help with Canvas?Students can click on the question mark in the lower hand corner (on the Global Navigation menu) to open a help window. Here students can choose to ask the teacher a question, or report a problem which is sent to SAUSD's TIS Department as a support ticket item. They are also encouraged to submit feature ideas!
