• My name is Dana Palomino and I am a 5th grade teacher at Heroes Elementary School.
    I began my career in SAUSD in 2001. I have taught many different grade levels, including middle school. I also had the opportunity to work on a special assignment at the high school level.
    In 1998, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University in Liberal Studies. I have a Multiple Subjects teaching credential with a bilingual emphasis. In 2005, I received my Master of Arts degree from Concordia University, Irvine in Educational Administration.
