    Congratulations to Luis Diaz for earning 1st place in the STATEWIDE "Creative Lecture" competition run by Educator's Rising which is a national career-technical student organization.
     
    Luis submitted a 10 minute "TED Talk" type of lecture examining  how to help students overcome social-emotional issues that impede their learning at school. His first place finish in California now allows him to move on to the national competition which will take place in Phoenix, AZ on June 24-25.
