Partnership AcademyLiteracy Program (P.A.L.S.)
The C.H.S. Partnership Academy Literacy Support (PALS) program is a unique and special community-based partnership between Santa Ana Unified School District, Century High School TEACH Academy, and the County of Orange Social Services Agency office in Santa Ana. TEACH seniors model for families interactive and engaging reading experiences with children as families wait for Social Services Agency appointments. TEACH students also provide gently-used books to children participating in reading time and share information with families to support children’s literacy development. The PALS program runs every Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Social Service Agency on Grand Street in Santa Ana.
