Class Description – Anatomy/Physiology – Mr. Beaumont

Anatomy/Physiology is the study of the form and function of the human body. Some of the areas we will be looking at will be:  TISSUES,ORGANS, AND ALL OF THE HUMAN BODY SYSTEMS

GRADINGPOLICY:  Everything you hand in will be given a point value.  These points will be totaled and grades will be given on the following basis:

          A = 90% - 100%

          B = 80% - 89%

          C = 70% - 79%

          D = 60% - 69%

CLASSWORK:  exams, quizzes, worksheets, labs, notebook, and participation will be taken into account for your grade

EXTRACREDIT:  You will have an opportunity to do extra credit during the semester.  It is up to you to take advantage of the opportunities given

MAKEUP WORK:  Work and tests may be made up if your absence is excused.  You will have one day for each excused day to make up work.  IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO FIND OUT WHAT YOU HAVE MISSED.  I WILL NOT GO AROUND LOOKING FOR YOU.

ATTENDANCE:  Everything we do in my class depends on you being here (especially labs!).  If you have excessive absences you will have a very difficult time passing my class.
