



Walker Elementary School was selected as the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports Southern California Champion in the 2011 Governor’s Fitness Challenge Competition.

| Adeline C Walker, born in July 10, 1904, once was described as the "real heart and soul of Santa Ana." She graduated from Santa Ana High School in 1921and was responsible for the restored Victorian Howe - Waffle house in Santa Ana. She is also credited with having the county court house declared a historic monument. Ms Walker is also remembered for her years of dedicated service working in district schools teaching children how to plant and care for gardens.
