SANTA ANA FAMILIES INVITED TO BOND WHILE LEARNING ABOUT HISTORY DURING 'WRITING THE CALIFORNIA CONSTITUTION WITH DAD'
Santa Ana Unified dads and their families are invited to bond and learn together during the upcoming Writing the California Constitution with Dad event.
Dads University, in partnership with the Heritage Museum of Orange County, will offer a hands on workshop focusing on the rich history of the California Constitution, which is the United States' first constitutional document to be written in English and Spanish.
At the workshop, dads and their families will also have a chance to develop their own personalized family constitution, integrating their family mission, vision, and values. The workshop concludes with a theater performance by Kennedy Elementary students, based off the daily journals of the official reporter of the convention, John Ross Brown.
The event takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at the Heritage Museum of Orange County, 3101 W. Harvard St. in Santa Ana.
