I have been Greenville's Speech and Language Specialist for 28 wonderful years - almost as long as the school has been in existence. I work with students from kindergarten through 5th grades who need remediation in either speech or language and our Special Day Class for Severely Handicapped students. We put on many plays using augmentative communication devices. I've been an Irish Lass, a Wild Thing, an old miner, and a grandma! What a joy these children bring to me and our school. My job is very challenging, but so rewarding. I have kept in touch with many former students who now have families of their own and have become success stories. I even have some of their children now. That is my greatest reward. My students know me as "Mrs. Wow" after one student who couldn't say "r" forever left me with this legacy.

When I am not teaching, my husband, two sons ages, and I love to spend time in Colorado where we have a second home. We love any kind of traveling. I enjoy reading, being with friends, and of course, shopping! My students have filled my speech room with my favorite collectible, pigs. I now have over 200 precious piggies!!  I feel truly blessed to be part of Greenville's wonderful staff.
